And stay there? Are you sure, because the MFL site I commish says we have to pay still? Provide a link where it says this and I'll def. look into it.
Offseason is free, but usually you have to pay by the first week or so.

I got an email saying that if you sign up and are moving from NFL.com or Fantrax you get next season free of charge. Why does everyone seem to think I dont know what i'm talking about www.myfantasyleague.com/fantasy-football-purchase/fantasy-football-upgrade-to-mfl.phpEmail them there about switching Here is the email sent to me In your survey, you indicated that you ran another league on a different system last year (Fantrax, NFL.com) and that you may be interested in switching that league to MyFantasyLeague.com if we can provide a discount. We're happy to let you know that if you convert your league from Fantrax, NFL.com to MFL this year, then you can run it for free on our site in 2012. Even better, we have an option built into our system to help you automatically convert your league history and other information from various other sites to our system, including CBS, ESPN, and Yahoo, among others. If you are interested in taking advantage of this promotion, just let us know and we'll show you how to get started. Thanks, Julie MyFantasyLeague.com Support Team

Well when I go to that site it say's it's 50% off, then when I click on the Free Trial link at the bottom it say's you can use the site for free up until Week 4 but that's it. I see by looking at the email you would think it's free all season, but that's how these places reel you in. In another league of mine similar to this we made the transition from Fantrax to MFL, and we had the same thing, it was only free for the offseason and till week 4.
Don't think we don't believe you, it's just I'm skeptical of anything that cost's, being offered as free with no hidden fees...
Usually there is a catch, and I'm sure this is no exception... Even if we did switch over and run it for a year, what are we gonna do move back the year after? Unless we start charging 10 bucks to be in the league and have payouts, that's very unlikely. Unfortunately the activity in this league is not enough to call for a radical change like that.

Fantrax has a charge of $60 now per season, the same as MFL, that is why I suggested it. If you email one of the MFL supervisors using the link then they will tell you it is free for 1 year, which is cheaper than Fantrax, and we could pull a stunt to get back on free yearly

I know Fantrax charges if you use one of their pay features, last year they were going to charge us, until we took that feature off. I haven't heard they were going to change anything. Right now we have some of those features on, but we will turn them back off when we get to the season. I'll check into the fact that they are gonna charge us for sure, or if you have a link to that you can PM bout it...

If I remember when I had looked ESPN doesn't allow for as many players as we hold, ie rosters can't be this large...
Yes, Fantrax is still a free league for us only certain features on here change it to make it cost, we don't use those few extra features...
