Western Division Playoffs
(4) Min at (1) ATL - ATL improves a whopping 6 games from last year, 4-2 in 11' to 10-2 this year! Wins his division and is the overall number 1 seed in the Western Div. Min improves 1 game over his season last year, but did not move up from 3rd in his very tough division. Leaving him on the road in the playoffs again where he must overcome a 10 pt deficit from the home teams crowd boost.
Final - Min 271.57 - ATL 261.46
(3) Det at (2) GB - Bitter rivals here play for the second week in a row. GB improves 1 game this season over last, but jumps into 1st in his division after trailing all year. Thus earning the team a 10 pt crowd boost, rather than playing on the road like last year. One of the highest scoring teams on the year will have a tough test here, because as the saying goes, "Any given Sunday" Det. has GB in there sights and they know how to take them down...Det improves an impressive 4 games over last years 3-9 season. Making the playoffs for the first time it wouldn't be the first time a team runs the house overcoming playing on the road. This is probably the toughest opening draw for a home team this year. Final - Det 286.68 - GB 270.06
Eastern Division Playoffs
(4) Dal at (1) NO - Coming off their stunning loss in the SB, NO came out this year holding nothing back sizzling to a 9-3 finish, 2nd in the league to ATL. New Orleans scored the most points in the league, they are the team to beat right now, but there are plenty of other teams up to the task. First up is a Dal team that snuck in the playoffs based off of a 2 pt win over the higher scoring Pit team. Don't let that fool you, this Dal team is 2 games better than last year, and hungry to be in the playoffs for the first time. Dal has a steep slope to climb as they are down 10 pts already since they are on the road, and they only outscored NO one time this season so far, but that one time happened to be Week 10 when the played for the 2nd time this season. They did it once, can the do it again? Final - Dal 191.96 - NO 256.75
(3) NYG vs. (2) STL - STL improved a game this year over last, and most importantly improved to first in his division, earning him a home game this year, and that oft crucial 10 pt home field crowd boost! A very up and down team, has the strength to score with the best of them, so what week is this, bring his A game and this is a cinch. NYG came back and made the playoffs after an opening week debacle, where he actually scored negative points. Not many teams would be able to dig deep and find what it takes to make it where they are right now. Now they have a chance to knock their bitter rivals out with a stinging punch. Is this there time, or is another playoff loss all that is in their cards? Final - NYG 212.99 - STL 214.96
